CeramicSpeed hybrid 4 point contact ball bearings

4 point contact ball bearings are designed to distribute load evenly across four contact points rather than two. This design reduces stress on individual components, resulting in a longer bearing life, even under demanding conditions. The use of ceramic ball technology substantially reduces friction, resulting in smoother operation, improved efficiency and reduced energy consumption. This makes 4 point contact ball bearings particularly suitable for applications where both radial and axial loads in both directions need to be absorbed by a single bearing, such as swivel bearings and rotating structures.

Variants, dimensions and materials

CeramicSpeed's 4 point contact ball bearing range is mainly offered in the Xtreme variant, a robust, all-round solution that continues to perform well under demanding or contaminated conditions. For specific applications, the Insulate variant (protection against stray currents) and the Corrotec variant (corrosion resistance for food, pharma and beverage applications) are also available. The inner ring diameter ranges from 20 to 100 mm. The rings are supplied as standard in chromium steel (SAE 52100). Thanks to precision engineering, these bearings meet the highest industry standards, offering consistent and reliable performance for modern machinery and equipment.
