CeramicSpeed hybrid self-aligning ball bearings
Product description
Self-aligning ball bearings are specifically designed to accommodate misalignment, allowing them to easily adapt to changing conditions. This makes them particularly suitable for applications where perfect alignment between shaft and housing is difficult to guarantee, or where shaft deflection may occur. Thanks to precision craftsmanship and the use of ceramic balls, these bearings offer consistent, reliable operation, a long service life and reduced wear, even in challenging operational environments such as manufacturing, processing and material handling. This versatility makes self-aligning ball bearings an attractive choice whenever alignment cannot be fully guaranteed during operation.
Variants, dimensions and materials
CeramicSpeed self-aligning ball bearings are available in the Xtreme variant, for general, robust applications with higher speeds and a longer service life under contaminated or extreme conditions, and the Corrotec variant, for applications with increased corrosion risk. The Insulate variant is also available for protection against stray currents in electrical machines. The inner ring diameter ranges from approximately 10 to 100 mm, making these bearings suitable for both smaller components and larger industrial machinery. The rings are available in chromium steel (SAE 52100) and stainless steel (AISI 420/440), so a suitable material choice is available for a wide range of environmental conditions.
